ECCU Workshop at 2013 NACBA Conference Will Look at How to Align Money and Mission
BREA, California—Any church that intends to live out its calling has to focus all the resources God provides on the church’s mission. A workshop being presented by ECCU at the upcoming 2013 National Association of Church Business Administration (NACBA) National Conference can help.
Arthur Wilson, CFO at The Park Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina, will join ECCU Ministry Relationship Manager David Lee to present Budgeting: Aligning Money and Mission at the five-day conference, which will run July 11–15 at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Those who attend this workshop on Monday, July 15, will learn how to:
- Build a budget process that assures their church’s spending aligns with its highest priorities
- Create a framework to clarify their church’s priorities and evaluate whether expenditures align with them
- Identify the reasons for and risks of not aligning their church’s spending with its priorities
This workshop is one of 80 being offered at the NACBA conference. Others address topics ranging from technology and social media advancements to tax/legal updates, risk management, and more.
ECCU will also host an invitation-only breakfast featuring Brad Leeper, president and principal of Generis. He’ll talk about how to create a culture of generosity in your church. Those attending this breakfast will be eligible to win an iPad©, as will conference attendees who register at ECCU’s booth 615 in the exhibit hall.
