Evangelical Christian Credit Union Names Rod Bollins as Vice President, Business Development

BREA, Calif., Feb. 14, 2017 – Evangelical Christian Credit Union (ECCU) announced today that Rod Bollins has joined its Executive Leadership Team as Vice President, Business Development, effective January 31, 2017. Reporting to ECCU President and CEO Abel Pomar, Bollins will oversee all aspects of the credit union’s Commercial Sales operation.

Bollins brings 20 years of leadership experience in the banking and capital markets arena to his new role, where he will focus on expanding ECCU’s Commercial Sales operation, enhancing its technology and efficiency processes, and establishing a stronger ECCU presence in strategic target commercial markets.

“Rod brings tremendous executive-level experience in developing and executing strategies to build and strengthen core organizational operations. His proven leadership capabilities and expertise in creating innovative business solutions and partnerships will be invaluable in taking ECCU’s Commercial Sales operation to the next level,” Pomar said. “Rod will play a key strategic role in ECCU’s continued growth, and I look forward to working with him as we focus on expanding our credit union’s operations and capabilities.”

Bollins most recently served as Managing Director of Antares Capital, providing consulting and value-add services to the private equity community. He previously served as Managing Director of GE Antares Capital, where he developed business strategies, led a diverse sales team, and built strategic partnerships. He also has held an executive position with City National Bank. Bollins received a bachelor of arts degree in Business from California State Fullerton.
