CLA 2011 National Conference

April 26, 2011
through
April 28, 2011

Equipping Today’s Ministry Leaders is the theme for this year’s Christian Leadership Alliance (CLA) National Conference, April 26–28, 2010, in Dallas, Texas. It’s a three-day opportunity for you to focus on learning, networking, and growing in your role as a ministry leader. Since ECCU has been a long-time strategic partner of CLA and hundreds of our ministry members are CLA members, we’re encouraging you to consider joining us at the conference.

This year’s conference offers 120 workshops in 14 educational tracks, a special two-day Church Leaders Summit, and various community-building sessions. Each morning will begin with devotions, followed by a general session with presenters like Chuck Swindoll and Priscilla Shirer.

Workshops will continue throughout the day on Wednesday and Thursday, and ECCU is pleased to be part of the educational program again by presenting these two sessions:

Ask a Banker!
Wednesday, April 27, 8:00–9:30 a.m.
ECCU President/CEO Mark G. Holbrook will moderate this panel discussion with three ministry-focused bankers.
Financial Health: A Lender’s Perspective
Wednesday, April 27, 3:30–5:00 p.m.
ECCU Ministry Development Officer David Lee will present this session at the Church Leaders Summit. He’ll focus on helping ministries understand how to assess their financial health to be sure they’re able to pursue their missions—not just renew their loans.

Perhaps the best part of this year’s CLA conference is that if you’re on the staff of an ECCU member ministry, you can attend the two-day summit for only $149. We’ve also arranged a discounted price of $249 for non-ECCU members (“Friends of ECCU”). That’s a savings of at least $400 from the full three-day CLA member conference price.

So mark the dates on your calendar—April 26–28—and register online. To receive your discount to the summit, be sure to include one of the following discount codes on the “Registration Summary” page when checking out online:

ECCU Members: ECCU11
Non-ECCU Members (“Friends of ECCU”): ECCU

When excellence in leadership is your goal, it helps to be with peers who want to pursue it together. That’s exactly what you’ll find when you come to the CLA National Conference. We look forward to seeing you there—we’ll be at booth number 607. And if you’re an ECCU member, be sure to connect with one of our ministry development officers in our designated suite.
