Erik Ely

Generosity Strategist

Erik Ely is a generosity strategist with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the market place and local church. He draws on his gifts in leadership, administration, strategic planning, and financial analysis to help churches reach their God-given potential and vision.

As a former business manager, Erik has managed businesses as large as $40 million dollars a year with up to 300 employees. Erik’s ministry experience has allowed him to be a director of operations, administrative pastor and, most recently, an executive pastor. These churches have ranged in size from 800 to over 2,100 and have given him the experience of resourcing large church staffs. Erik has also been personally involved in multiple building campaigns as both a staff person and volunteer.

Erik resides in Columbia, South Carolina, with his wife and three sons.

Nathan Ealy

Generosity Strategist

Working with churches is in Nathan’s blood. He grew up watching his father, Gary, serve churches as a consultant for Generis.

Prior to joining Generis, Nathan worked for IMG College as a producer and broadcaster. He has also worked for the Tennessee Titans Radio Network. Nathan’s background in the media gives him the unique ability to communicate with pastors and lay people alike.

In Nathan’s own words, this is how he sums up his approach to cultivating generosity within a church: “Prayer and communication are critical in any generosity strategy. We must first invite God into the process and have His blessing. It is then critical that we clearly communicate His mission to the people who have been called to carry it out.”

Nathan attended Auburn University where he played soccer and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. While at Auburn University, Nathan met his wife, Laura. They have one daughter, Evelyn, and they reside in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Randy Marsh

Relationship Manager

Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from Oklahoma Baptist University as well as two master’s degrees and a doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Before beginning his church finance career, he served as senior pastor and staff member of several Southern Baptist churches. He has extensive experience in all areas of church finance from both a pastor’s and banker’s perspective. Randy has worked with ministries all across the country providing financial planning services, developing customized budget and debt reduction plans, and securing financing for building and expansion projects.
